Program Description

Body

Have you ever wondered where plants originated or how they are named? Why one item you eat is a fruit and the other is a vegetable? All of that and more will be explored in this class about basic botany. Join Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s Education & Exhibits Director, Mark Miller, as he explains the concepts that underlie the success and failure of plants in your home and landscape. All gardeners – even ones with black thumbs – are welcome.
