Join the Environmental Education Specialist from Point State Park to learn about the upcoming Great American Eclipse the Carnegie Library of Homestead! On April 8th 2024, the sun will go dark behind the moon, but this is your chance to prepare for this once in a lifetime event. Learn why eclipses are so rare and discover how they take place. We will also talk about how to view an eclipse safety and create a craft to help you do so. Please bring a cereal box or other cardboard box to build this craft! Please meet us at the library on January 15th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
