Rebecca Harrison (founder, Old Flame Mending) is happy to bring her mending expertise to the library for a Mending 101 Workshop. Old Flame Mending is a sewing service that helps people keep their clothes out of the landfill through repair, tailoring/ alterations, and custom work.

In this workshop, participants will learn mending basics, including: fixing tears + holes, sewing on a button, and patching. Please bring 2-4 garments* to work on. All other supplies, including needles, thread, pins, thimbles, and buttons will be provided. Fee for the class is $10 and you must call or visit the library to pay your fee in advance.

*not recommended: crotch holes in denim, broken or missing zippers, leather or suede materials
